NSU’s Executive Director of International Affairs Presents Paper in India
Anthony J. DeNapoli, Ed.D., NSU’s Executive Director of International Affairs, presented a paper and workshop on the “Changing Role of the School Principal” at the second annual international conference, Excellence in School Education, sponsored by the Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India, on Oct. 26.
The conference featured invited speakers from India, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Nigeria and the United States. More than 700 school administrators and university professors participated in the event.
The Honorable Sheri Kepi Sisal, India’s Minister for Human Resource Development, also addressed the participants and spoke about India’s new education reform acts, the urgent need for strong collaboration between the schools and India’s colleges and universities, and the need for leadership training at the school and university levels.
