NSU’s College of Pharmacy Hosts the Annual Faculty Development Retreat

David Loshin, O.D., Ph.D., FAAO, dean of NSU’s College of Optometry; Richard Dodge, Ph.D., dean, NSU’s Oceanographic Center; Lisa Deziel, Pharm.D., Ph.D., dean, NSU’s College of Pharmacy; George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., NSU’s President and CEO; H. Thomas Temple, M.D., NSU’s senior vice president of translational research and economic development; and Gary S. Margules, Sc.D., vice president for Research and Technology Transfer.

NSU’s College of Pharmacy hosted its Annual Faculty Development Program on May 19-20, 2015 at the Ft. Lauderdale Sonesta Hotel. Faculty, administrators, and student ambassadors from NSU campuses including Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Puerto Rico attended the two-day event. The program provided a highly interactive platform with discussions related to teaching, collaborative research, and interprofessional education. The event was highlighted with NSU President and CEO George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., speaking about NSU’s Vision 2020 to be recognized as a premier university of quality and distinction offering a diverse array of innovative academic programs to foster academic excellence, intellectual inquiry, leadership, research, and commitment to community.
