NSU’s Branch of the American Association of University Women Host Campus Visit Day for PACE, Oct. 15
The NSU Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the Alvin Sherman Library has formed a collaboration with the PACE (Practical Academic Cultural Education) Center for Girls. PACE Center for Girls, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 corporation that provides a non-residential delinquency prevention program in locations statewide, targeting the unique needs of females 12 to 18 who are identified as dependent, truant, runaway, delinquent, or in need of academic skills. Together, representatives from PACE and NSU have developed an ongoing curriculum which offers students exposure to skills, strengths training and leadership opportunities.
