NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library Voted a Broward Family Favorite by Readers of Broward Family Life Magazine
Nova Southeastern University’s Alvin Sherman Library (ASL) was voted a Broward Family Favorite (BFF) by readers of Broward Life magazine.
The BFF Awards program was created in 2012. This is the second year in a row that ASL has received an award for the “Favorite Free Fun!” category.
Award recipients are determined by Broward Family Life readers using an online voting process; there are 45 categories in which they can nominate their favorites. The awards recognize businesses and services that do an outstanding job catering to families and children. The businesses that receive the most votes are recognized with a BFF (Broward Family Favorite) Award.
“We are thrilled and honored to be receiving this award. Not only are we humbled to be chosen by Broward Family Life magazine, but to know that we were selected by the readers is truly inspiring and meaningful, “said Lydia Acosta, Vice President for Information Services and University Librarian.
ASL takes pride in creating a place where families can enjoy traditional library services as well as receive great programming at high quality events free of charge.
All BFF Award recipients will appear on the Broward Family Life website – browardfamilylife.com – all year long!
