#NSU50 Top Moment No. 6: NSU Adds Three More Teams
The #NSU50 “Top Moments in NSU Athletics History” continues with the sixth moment on the list: Nova adds men’s golf, women’s tennis and baseball.
Nova made the move in the fall of 1987, bringing the total of sports to eight, with five men’s teams and three women’s teams. The athletic department was expanding at a time when they were finding repeated success. The Knights had their first All-American in men’s soccer (Dag Cohen) the year prior. That same fall, the volleyball team would win its third straight District 25 Championship. Complete Release
