NSU Women’s Track & Field Cracks Top-25 in First USTFCCCA Poll
Just three competitions into the 2018 season, the Nova Southeastern women’s track and field team has broken into the United States Track and Field Cross Country and Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national poll, announced Tuesday afternoon.
The women enter the year’s first poll at No. 21 in the country, while the men currently sit at No. 34. The rankings are based on athletes who are ranked in the Top-25 of their events in the Track and Field Results Reporting System.
“I am excited that both teams are ranked that high in the first national poll,” said head coach Bryan Hagopian. “We have battled through injuries since the fall and some of our athletes have not competed in their events yet. I feel once we are fully healthy, both teams will rise in the national rankings.”
