NSU Women’s Basketball Inks Walters for 2017-18

The Nova Southeastern women’s basketball team and head coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry are proud to announce the first spring signee for the 2017-18 season, Destiny Walters.
As a senior at Hallandale HS, the 5-9 guard averaged 19.4 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 3.2 steals. From her stellar final season, she was named to the 2017 All-Broward County First-Team from both the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald. As a junior, she was also named to the 2016 Sun Sentinel All-Broward County First-Team.
