NSU Welcomes Musical and Dance Performance “From Brazil to the World”

Nova Southeastern University, Brazilian Voices Culture and Education Program, and the Office of International Affairs will host “From Brazil to the World,” in the Epstein Center for the Arts on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus.

“From Brazil to the World,” features a thrilling combination of live Samba and Bossa Nova performances in two languages, woven together with beautiful multimedia presentations, authentic Brazilian dancing, and exciting Capoeira martial arts demonstrations. Immersed in a musical journey, the audience learns about the natural wonders of Brazil as well as interesting features of its historical and contemporary developments.

The performance is taking place during NSU’s International Education Week. This is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. It supports NSU’s efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
