NSU Welcomes more than 1,500 IT Professionals to Campus during ITPalooza

GSCIS Dean Eric Ackerman, CEO George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., receive a $5,000 check from Sherlock Tech representative Alex Funkhouser.

NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) welcomed more than 1,500 Information Technology (IT) professionals to main campus during the 2nd Annual ITPalooza on Dec. 12.

Organized by SherlockTech Staffing, the day long event featured tech educational sessions designed to offer attendees an immerse learning experience. Activities included vendor-prospect interaction, hackathons, professional networking and job opportunities fair. The day culminated with a holiday party and live entertainment provided by the ITPalooza House Band led by Host.net CMO Lenny Chesal.

NSU President and CEO George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., and GSCIS Dean Eric Ackerman, were presented with a $5,000 donation to the GSCIS Computer History Museum on behalf of the ITPalooza by Sherlock Tech representative, Alex Funkhouser.
