NSU Veterans Day Celebration

600px--Veterans-Day-2017Come celebrate this Veterans Day with NSU Veterans!  It’s our pleasure to have teamed up with one of our NSU sororities, Phi Sigma Sigma and fraternity, Kappa Sigma to show support for our country’s men and women who have worn the uniform of Military Service (Police, Fire, and 1st Responders always welcomed and included).

Wednesday, November 8, 2017

Noon–2:00 p.m.

NSU Flight Deck Pub

Free for NSU Veteran Students, Staff and Faculty

$10 optional donation to support NSU’s Veteran’s Program

$20 for Support NSU Vet’s Shirt

This year we will be honoring America’s Young Veterans for their altruistic love of country, their enthusiasm to serve and endure for the common good, as well as our NSU collective patriotism. We are truly grateful for our entire NSU Community who can make the time to stop by and celebrate with us. Additionally, we are accepting optional donations and contributions to help rebuild NSU’s Veterans Program here on campus.

Our NSU Red, White, and Blue limited edition, Support Student Veterans shirts will be for sale during this event; the funds will go toward enhancing our NSU Veterans Resource Center (located at Rosenthal Student Center, Room 218). We aim to create more programs that will help ease the transition from a life of serving in the military, to a life of serving in our community and beyond.

For more information, please contact Kelsey De Santis, USMC Veteran and NSU VRC Coordinator at kd835@nova.edu.

Note:  This event is casual and is designed to be a relaxed environment. We are taking a group picture at 1:00 p.m. Please be there to show your support.
