NSU Unveils Secure Online Form for Reporting Title IX/Sexual Misconduct Violations

As part of NSU’s comprehensive approach to responding to and reducing the impact of sexual misconduct at our university, a new secure online reporting form is now available to report incidents of sexual misconduct affecting one or more members of the NSU community.

All employees (other than those designated as confidential resources) are required to report incidents of sexual misconduct they learn about to the Title IX Coordinator. The new reporting form provides a secure and easily accessible platform for reporting sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment, sexual violence, stalking, and relationship violence) which affects one or more members of the NSU community.

Information submitted via the reporting form is sent directly to Laura Bennett, Title IX Coordinator for initial review and response by the next NSU business/school day. The privacy of any information submitted is maintained to the greatest extent possible, while still allowing the university to respond appropriately to promote safety and accountability. Reports can be submitted by any person and may be submitted anonymously, although anonymous reports may limit NSU’s ability to gather critical information and follow up with the reporting party.

To access the online reporting form, visit http://www.nova.edu/title-ix, and click the “Report” button in the center of the page. If you have questions about the form, or whether an incident is subject to NSU’s Title IX/Sexual Misconduct policy, please contact the Title IX Coordinator at laura.bennett@nova.edu or 954-262-7858.
