NSU to host “Gulf War Illness and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome”, Oct. 26
The Institute for Neuro Immune Medicine (INIM) at NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine is proud to host a daylong event “Complex Neuro Inflammatory Conditions: GWI and ME/CFS.” The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., on the Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus.
The INIM will showcase INIM researchers, students, and physicians with poster presentations and panel discussions on various aspects focusing on ME/CFS and GWI. Other local and national collaborators including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, University of Miami, Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, and Open Medicine Foundation will participate in panel discussions.
The event is open to attendees of the IACFS/ME meeting, as well as the public. A $25 registration fee will cover lunch, beverages, and an invitation to a wine and cheese fundraiser at the end of the day to raise funds for ME/CFS Gene Research.
