Sharks to continue postseason play with opener against West Florida

The No. 4 Nova Southeastern University women’s tennis team extended their postseason play with NCAA Division II South Region tournament inclusion for the second year in a row, as announced by the NCAA on its selection show on Tuesday, April 26.
The Sharks (15-4) are seeded fourth in the South Region Bracket I, and will encounter the No. 8-ranked and fifth-seeded West Florida Argonauts (22-5) next Monday, May 9, at 10 a.m. That half of the South will be hosted by top-seeded Saint Leo, No. 2 in the country. The winner of NSU and UWF will play the Lions the following day, also at 10 a.m.
The other half of the bracket will take place in Boca Raton, hosted by second seed and No. 5 Lynn. They will face the winner of third seed Barry (No. 6) and six seed Benedict. The top survivors of each half of the South Region tournament will take a trip to Denver for the 2016 NCAA DII Tennis Championships that will take place May 18-21.
