NSU and Sun-Sentinel to Host National Political Debate May 11

Tea Party members oppose President Barack Obama’s policies and Coffee Party members support him. The Sun Sentinel and NSU will host a panel discussion with representatives of the tea and coffee movements. The panel will explore whether the movements are a fad or fixture in politics. The event will take place on May 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the NSU Health Professions Division’s Steele Auditorium.

Antonio Fins, Sun Sentinel opinion page editor, will be the moderator for the summit with party members and NSU history professor, Charles Zelden, Ph.D. Join us for a lively and insightful conversation. Tickets are required for admission. Although the tickets are free, only 150 are available for NSU students, faculty, and staff. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. To get one, please visit http://coffeeortea.eventbrite.com/
