NSU Students Invited to Attend FREE Library Boot Camp to Strengthen Research Skills, Ends March 28
Be all you can be by attending the FREE Library Boot Camp to strengthen your research skills!
From March 26-28, NSU students are invited to participate in a free three-day open workshop series on how to successfully use library resources and services for their research.
- Day 1: “Research Intelligence” will demonstrate how to use NovaCat, databases, Journal Finder, Find It, and Library Guides.
- Day 2: “Active Duty” will provide practice exercises on how to construct effective search strategies.
- Day 3: “APA Rules of Engagement” will provide an overview of APA style formatting.
All three sessions will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. and will be repeated from 5 to 6 p.m. in person at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library in Lab B, and online through Elluminate.
Students may attend any or all days. No prior library knowledge is required to participate, though some familiarity with the Internet and computer skills is recommended.
