NSU Staff Member Recognized on Chamber Website

LaDorne Brannen, assistant director at the Palm Beach Student Educational Center, was featured in the  “Membership Spotlight” on the website of the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. The Chamber writes:

“…LaDorne and Nova Southeastern University have been members of the Black Chamber since 2009. She serves as co-chair of the Events Committee. This committee is responsible for Business Before and After Hours Events. LaDorne has been an active, dedicated and invaluable member since joining the Black Chamber. As co-chair of the Events Committee she has been instrumental in creating opportunities for participants to learn about relevant business opportunities and other issues, plus cultivating strategic partnerships. She unselfishly aligns with other committees to work toward the greater good of the organization.

LaDorne demonstrates a sincere dedication to the community. She was recently a 2011 Blue Dove Awards nominee. LaDorne was an excellent candidate for this award which honors individuals who maintain high personal and professional ethical standards and who have made a positive difference in our community that has resulted in long term and lasting changes for the public good. She is also an active member of Las Novias Society and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.”
