NSU Speaker’s Forum Hosted by Dr. Larry A. Calderon, Oct. 8

Bahaudin G. Mujtaba, D.B.A., an associate professor of management and human resources management at NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, will be the featured speaker at the NSU Speaker’s Forum on Oct. 8. He will speak about diversity awareness and management in the workplace.

Bahaudin has been serving as a faculty member at the Huizenga School since 1996. Bahaudin was given the school’s prestigious annual “Faculty of the Year Award” in 2005, and ebruary 2010, he received the “Pride of HR Profession” Award at the World Human Resource Development Congress annual conference, held in Mumbai, India.

Bahaudin has served as a manager, trainer and management development specialist in the retail industry for 16 years. He has served as Chair for the Society of Afghan Engineers/Society of Afghan Architects and Engineers International Conference held at Kabul University on December 2005, which was jointly held by the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) and the Society of Afghan Engineers and Architect (SAAE), and in 2008, he served as conference co-chair for the Global Association of Business and Economic Research (GABER) in Orlando and in Bangkok, Thailand.

The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum is sponsored by Larry Calderon, Ed.D., NSU’s vice president for community and governmental affairs. Taking place each Friday from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Boardroom of the Horvitz Administration Building, these forums allow speakers from the university to present on a vast array of topics, including their latest programs, research, campus activities and more. The forum includes breakfast as well as a question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation.
