Robert A. Bogorff, M.L.S., NSU’s director of archives.

Robert A. Bogorff, M.L.S., NSU’s director of archives, will be the featured speaker at the NSU Speaker’s Forum on Nov. 19.  He will discuss NSU’s history: untold tales, comedy, and tragedy.

Bogorff has a master of library science degree from the Palmer Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Prior to his current position, he was NSU’s director of library services and senior librarian. Before joining NSU in 1971, Bogorff was unit head of technical services at the Connecticut State Library in Hartford, Conn., and a catalog librarian at the State University of New York Maritime College in Ft. The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum is sponsored by Larry Calderon, Ed.D., NSU’s vice president for community and governmental affairs. These forums allow speakers from the university to present on a vast array of topics, including their latest programs, research, campus activities and more. The forum includes breakfast as well as a question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation. The next Speaker’s Forum will be held in room 2053 at the Alvin Sherman Library.
