NSU Speaker’s Forum Hosted by Dr. Larry A. Calderon, Mar. 4


Robert C. Preziosi, M.Ed., D.P.A., professor of management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU


Robert C. Preziosi, M.Ed., D.P.A., professor of management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU, will be the featured speaker at the NSU Speaker’s Forum on Friday, March. 4. He will talk about Leadership 2015: You want me to do what?

Preziosi was named “Faculty Member of the Year in 2003”. He is the chair of the Management Department (general management, leadership, international business, public administration, and human resource management) and developed the Huizenga Business School’s master’s degree in leadership. He was also the recipient of the Huizenga Business School’s first Excellence in Teaching Award. In December 2000, he was named Professor of the Decade by the Huizenga Business School. In 2007, he received another Excellence in Teaching Award from the Huizenga Business School’s Hudson Institute of Entrepreneurship and Executive Education. Preziosi has been vice president of management development and training for a Fortune 50 company. He has worked as a human resource director, line manager, leadership training administrator, and twice served as an acting dean for the Huizenga Business School.  He is the author of the book, The Leadership Road. Additionally, he has served as the editor of numerous books that are on the shelves of the Baker Library at the Harvard Business School.

The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum, hosted by Larry A. Calderon, NSU vice president for community and governmental relations, takes place each Friday from 9 – 10:30 a.m. The audience is treated to a delicious hot breakfast and an opportunity to learn about the fascinating people that make NSU a great university. The Speaker’s Forum is held on the second floor of the Horvitz Administration Building in the President’s Board Room.
