NSU Speaker’s Forum Hosted by Dr. Larry A. Calderon
Gay Lynn Williamson-Grigas, M.A., CEO of Grigas Consulting, will be the featured speaker at NSU’s Speaker’s Forum on Friday, Mar. 23. Her presentation is titled: Trigger-Proof Your Way To Success: 12 Tools To Keep Your Cool and Confidence.
As the CEO of Grigas Consulting, Williamson-Grigas’ goal is helping leaders enhance the individual and collective performance of their people. She has been a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) since 1992 and the Society of Consulting Psychology through the APA. Other professional affiliations include Human Resource Association of Broward County; as well as the Society for Human Resource Managers. She is a sought after speaker for the local chapters and HR Florida State Conference.
Currently, she is providing yearlong training at NSU on the topic of stress management and relationship building using her new training system: Trigger-Proof Your Way To Success: 12 Tools To Keep Your Cool and Confidence. Registration is limited to 120 NSU employees for this standing-room-only Lunch & Learn series. NSU locations have been teleconferencing for this ongoing monthly series.
Trigger-Proof Your Way To Success:12 Tools To Keep Your Cool and Confidence is an interactive presentation that will give audiences valuable information to eliminate the grip that overwhelm and stress have on their lives. Participants will learn to manage tensions and pressures in every area of their lives with greater ease and confidence. The course’s goal is to improve work quality, as well as reduce apathy and workplace conflicts with 12 easy-to-use tools to recognize stressors and minimize their negative impact.
