NSU Speaker’s Forum Hosted by Dr. Larry A. Calderon, Jan. 27


Anthony J. DeNapoli, Ed.D, executive director of International Affairs at Nova Southeastern University



Anthony J. DeNapoli, Ed.D., executive director of International Affairs at Nova Southeastern University, will be the featured speaker at NSU’s Speaker’s Forum on Friday, Jan. 27. He will discuss NSU’s international programs and initiatives.

Prior to assuming his current administrative position, DeNapoli served as dean and executive dean of International Affairs at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler School of Education; a professor of educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, and foreign language education at several colleges and universities across the country; and as a teacher and school administrator at the middle, and high school levels.  He is frequently invited to speak and to present workshops and instructional sessions at local, state, national and international conferences, symposia and colloquia. DeNapoli has played a key role in the development, implementation, and supervision of numerous international partnerships and programs at NSU.

In addition to his administrative responsibilities, DeNapoli currently teaches international leadership courses at NSU. Last September, he published an article entitled: The Changing Role of the School Principal, in India’s Mentor Magazine. DeNapoli is committed to promoting international education, cross-cultural understanding, the internationalization of curriculum, campus globalization, and the development of innovative degree, non-degree and professional development programs for students worldwide.

The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum, hosted by Larry A. Calderon, Ed.D., NSU’s vice president for community and governmental relations, takes place each Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  The forum will be held at the Alvin Sherman Library room 3018.
