NSU Speaker’s Forum Hosted by Dr. Larry A. Calderon, Jan. 20



Jeff Kibler, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies.



Jeff Kibler, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies, will be the featured speaker at NSU’s Speaker’s Forum on Friday, Jan. 20. He will discuss post-traumatic stress and women’s health.

Kibler is the director of the NSU Biofeedback and Health Psychology Center. He has co-authored over 30 scientific publications in the areas of clinical and health psychology. His research addresses psychological risks for physical illness, and most of his recent work has examined cardiovascular consequences of post-traumatic stress.  In 2008, Kibler was awarded a research grant from the National Institutes of Health to support his current project on cardiovascular risks among women with post-traumatic stress.

The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum, hosted by Larry A. Calderon, Ed.D., NSU vice president for community and governmental relations, takes place each Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  The forum will be held at the Huizenga Business School room 5026.
