Dr. Larry A. Calderon Hosts NSU Speaker’s Forum, Apr. 30
Shelley Green, Ph.D., professor of family therapy at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), will be the featured speaker at the NSU Speaker’s Forum on Apr. 30. Green will be speaking about stable foundations and creating an equine-assisted family therapy approach.
Green served as the director of the doctoral program in family therapy from 1996-2001 at SHSS and was instrumental in helping the program achieve Candidacy Status with the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
The weekly NSU Speaker’s Forum is sponsored by Larry Calderon, Ed.D., NSU’s vice president for community and governmental affairs. Taking place each Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., these forums allow speakers from the university to speak on a vast array of topics, including their latest programs, research, campus activities and more. The forum includes breakfast and a question and answer session at the conclusion of the speaker presentation.
