NSU Rower recognized in Sports Illustrated
NSU student athlete Courtney Berger
Sophomore rower Courtney Berger was featured in the Sept. 12, 2011 issue of Sports Illustrated, identified as one of the “Faces in the Crowd.” Berger was recognized for winning the NCAA Female Sportsmanship Award last year as she and her freshman eight boat stopped to help a rower in a rival boat who was having trouble breathing at the SIRA regatta.
