NSU RecPlex will Suspend Operation on Aug. 19
The Don Taft University Center will host the final NSU Commencement Ceremonies this summer. As part of the logistics to successfully complete these ceremonies, the NSU RecPlex will house a number of activities prior, during, and after the ceremony.
Due to the impact of hosting these activities, and with the support of the NSU Pan Student Government Association, the NSU RecPlex will SUSPEND operations on commencement days. We are expecting approximately 3,000 – 4,000 guests on these days which will make operating challenging and will not provide a conducive environment for recreating.
The last Commencement will be held on Friday, August 19, 2:00 pm.
At this time we are anticipating Rec Plex closures one to two hours prior to the start of each ceremony and remaining closed up to two hours after the ceremony ends.
