NSU Professor and Doctoral Students Present at the Fourth Annual Yoga Service Conference
Lisa Carbone, Ed.D., professor at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education, and doctoral students Stephanie Guedj and Nicole Sciarrino from the Center for Psychological Studies, recently presented at the Fourth Annual Yoga Service Conference at the Omega Institute of Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York.
The Yoga Service Conference at Omega is a forum for multidisciplinary research and serves yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, yoga therapists, health care professionals, and researchers worldwide. Preliminary data was presented from a recent yoga study led by Carbone titled: “Impact of Yoga Therapy on Veterans with PTSD.”
