NSU Presents Heartland Dental Founder & CEO, “From the Farm to Dental Entrepreneur – Building an American Dream”, Jan. 23
You’re invited to the NSU College of Dental Medicine & Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship Mariani Family Distinguished Speakers Series on January 23, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Carl DeSantis Building, room 3000 (Sales Institute).
Rick Workman, DMD, Founder and Executive Chairman of Heartland Dental, will present,“From the Farm to Dental Entrepreneur – Building an American Dream.”
After many years of practicing full-time, Workman created Heartland Dental, a world-class dental support organization, offering non-clinical, administrative services to supported dentists and team members. Today, Heartland Dental is the largest dental support organization in the nation, with more than 800 supported dental offices in 34 states. Thousands of dentists and team members across the country have taken advantage of the non-clinical support, leading continuing education and priceless mentorship opportunities available at Heartland Dental to help achieve their goals.
Workman has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is a former president of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO), a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in their Master’s category, the BESI Award (Business Ethics & Social Involvement Award) from the East Central Illinois Development Corporation and the Richard C. Siemer Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation.
