NSU Pharmacy Students Compete Successfully at State Convention

NSU College of Pharmacy students give a “Fins Up” at the 126th Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) Annual Meeting and Convention in Fort Lauderdale

Multiple student teams from NSU’s College of Pharmacy participated in various competitions during the 126th Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) Annual Meeting and Convention recently held in Fort Lauderdale. Below is a brief recap of the multiple successes for NSU.

  1. 2016 NASPA/NMA Game Show 1st Place Winner: Damaal Walker, Ronell Balacer, and Naima Jahan
  2. 2016 FPA Patient Counseling Competition 1st Place: Jessica Greenwood
  3. 2016 FPA Patient Counseling Competition 2nd Place: Farima Raof
  4. 2016 Poster Presentation Competition 3rd Place: Farima Raof, Anihara Hernandez, and Stephanie Palma
  5. Induction to the FPA Prestigious #1 Club: Farima Raof
  6. Appointed as the chair for FPA Student Affairs Council: Farima Raof
  7.    House of Delegates Resolutions: Two resolutions were proposed by NSU representatives (Kaitav Shah and Nicole Olympio) and they both successfully passed.
