NSU Pharmacy Student Wins Wheel of Fortune Season Premiere

Third-year NSU College of Pharmacy student Luis Hernandez won the season premiere of the long-standing game show Wheel of Fortune, which was filmed in Las Vegas and aired in September. Hernandez, who serves as P3 class president at the NSU Davie campus, solved the final puzzle by correctly guessing “previous occupant” to win a Chevrolet Camaro, courtesy of AutoNation. His total winnings were $71,134. “Winning on Wheel of Fortune was a dream come true for me and an unforgettable, exhilarating experience,” said Hernandez. “I thank God for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I’m glad I could share it with my family and friends as well as my NSU classmates, faculty and administration.”
