NSU Pediatrician Helps Create Family Readiness Kit

Dr. Deborah Ann Mulligan

Deborah Ann Mulligan, M.D., FACEP, FAAP

Deborah Ann Mulligan, M.D., FACEP, FAAP, director, NSU Institute for Child Health Policy, and professor of pediatrics, NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, helped launch the 2016 American Association of Pediatrics’ Family Readiness Kit.

The kit includes helpful information to prepare families to face man-made and natural disasters. Mulligan served as the project director for the first iteration of the kit and was senior guest editor for the 2016 version. The kit is endorsed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and American College of Emergency Physicians.
