NSU Pediatrician Co-Authors Article on the Negative Effects of Secondhand TV on Children

Deborah A. Mulligan, M.D., director of Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Child Health Policy, co-authored a recently published article titled “Media Use by Children Younger Than 2 Years.”

The article was published in Pediatrics, the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The topic of the article, which argues that children are negatively affected by casual exposure to television, was the subject of a recent front page article in USA Today.
