NSU Pediatric Dentistry Resident Runner-Up in National Poster Competition
Neeva Chukkapalli, D.M.D.
Neeva Chukkapalli, D.M.D., a second year pediatric dentistry resident at NSU’s College of Dental Medicine, placed second in the My Kids Dentist Research Poster Competition recently held at the annual session of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in Boston. Her poster was chosen as runner-up among 417 participants from throughout the United States and Canada.
The title of Chukkapalli’s presentation was “Comparison of in vitro Toothbrush Disinfection Procedures.” Faculty mentors and co-investigators were Peter Murray, Ph.D., Lesbia Drukteinis, D.D.S., and Romer Ocanto, D.D.S.
