NSU Orlando hosts Central Florida Jobs Initiative
The NSU Orlando Campus proudly served as the host of the Central Florida Jobs Initiative (CFJI). With a 70% job placement rate, the CFJI has made great progress in Seminole County where it has successfully put unemployed and underemployed people to work. Building on this success, the CFJI sought to extend its services to Orange County as well and NSU Orlando was happy to help make that a reality. The courses are one week long and include relevant modules taught each day. Participants are able to experience various aspects of the job application process such as phone interviews and background checks.
