NSU Orlando Campus Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Join the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Orlando Campus on Thursday, October 18 for special events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Start the day with the Hispanic Heritage Breakfast Celebration from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. by enjoying a Latin inspired breakfast, networking with others who support and empower the Latin community, and meeting local Latin artisanal vendors. Learn about empowering-community partnerships for education and change from David A. Escobar Arcay, Ph.D., associate professor at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education. Continue the celebration from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Hispanic Resource Fair where you’ll gain resources of empowerment for the Hispanic community, learn about NSU’s International Teacher Education Program, and enjoy food trucks, local artists, and more!
