It’s Open Enrollment Time
Open Enrollment begins Monday, February 11, 2019 and will end at midnight on Friday, February 22, 2019 for the plan year beginning April 1, 2019. Open Enrollment is your opportunity to freely make benefit election changes, add or remove dependents, and re-elect Flexible Spending Account elections.
Now is your chance to make new elections or changes to your existing coverage for medical, flexible spending, dental, vision, optional life insurance (evidence of insurability required), gap insurance, and pet coverage for the plan year that begins April 1, 2019.
Don’t forget to register for an Open Enrollment Information Session, held online via GoToTraining, by visiting http://bit.ly/NSUOE2019 – and be sure to visit the Open Enrollment web page at www.nova.edu/hr/open-enrollment for more the latest updates on everything Open Enrollment at NSU!
If you do not login during Open Enrollment, your current elections will carry forward to the new plan year with the exception of flexible spending account elections which require new elections every plan year. All elections and changes must be made through the ICUBA Portal (available 24/7) at http://icubabenefits.org.
Healthcare flexible spending account reminder! If you wish to maintain flexible spending in the new plan year, you’ll have to renew your election during Open Enrollment. If you choose not to renew your election you will be able to pay for eligible expenses incurred through June 15, 2019 and will have until June 30, 2019, to submit any unclaimed expenses.
