NSU Multimedia Conference drew about 140 Attendees
NSU Multimedia Conference
About 140 people from NSU, local community colleges, and area high schools attended the NSU Multimedia Conference on Saturday, October 12 at the university’s main campus in Davie, Fl. The conference was co-sponsored by the NSU Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences and the office of Student Media. Participants attended interactive presentations on a variety of media topics by local media professionals and educators. Guest speakers included Victoria Rajkumar, news writer for WSVN-TV and NSU alumna; Annie Vazquez, fashion blogger; Kevin Ozebek, reporter for WSVN-TV; Pia Malbran, investigative producer for CBS News; Gregory Lee, executive sports editor of the Sun Sentinel; and Scott Pritchett, director of sales for Lincoln Financial Media. The day also included a Young Professionals Panel, featuring recent NSU alumni, and a Media Professionals panel.
