NSU Men’s Golfer Excels at European Challenge Tour Event

Nova Southeastern men’s golfer, Ricardo Celia (So., Barranquilla, Columbia) recently competed at the European Challenge Tour’s Pacific Rubiales Columbia Classic in Barranquilla, Columbia where he finished 20th overall. The tournament was held March 8-12 at the Country Club de Barranquilla.
“I am very proud of Ricardo’s play in Barranquilla and how he represented Nova Southeastern on a big stage in his hometown in Colombia,” said head men’s golf coach Garrett Runion. “He has worked hard on his game this semester, with extra emphases on his fitness in the gym and his attitude on the course. I am glad to see him be rewarded with a 5th-place finish in our last college tournament and back it up with a top-20 in a European Challenge Tour event. I know this will give him confidence for the rest of the semester and into post season play.” Complete Release
