NSU Medical School Student Publishes Book on Parkinson’s Disease

Michael A. Carranza, M.S.

Michael A. Carranza, M.S., a first-year student at NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine authored a book entitled, Parkinson’s Disease: A Guide to Medical Treatment that serves as a comprehensive and up-to-date guide for patients, caregivers, neurologists, and other medical professionals. Carranza, who earned his master’s degree in Pharmacology at the University of South Florida (USF) and worked in clinical neurological research at USF, hopes to become a neurologist and movement-disorder specialist once he graduates from NSU-COM.
