NSU Medical School Professor Elected Fellow
Naushira Pandya, M.D., CMD, FACP, professor and chair of the Department of Geriatrics at NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, was elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP). The distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care, and contributions made to the broader community.
The American College of Physicians is the second largest physician group in the United States. Membership includes more than 137,000 internists, related subspecialists, and medical students. Internists are specialists in the prevention, detection, and treatment of illnesses in adults.
