NSU Library’s Circle of Friends Hosts Tavern Night with Ben Franklin, Nov. 19
The Circle of Friends of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library will host an evening with America’s first journalist, printer, politician, sage, scientist, diplomat, raconteur, iconoclast, ladies man, and most of all, patriot on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with tavern drinks and hor d’oeuvres, and will include a presentation by Ben Franklin reenactor Art Yeaman, as well as the chance to examine the exhibit “Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World.”
Tickets are complimentary for Circle of Friends members, and $20 for non-members.
The Circle of Friends is a diverse group of individuals who share the common goal of furthering the intellectual resources of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library.
