NSU Library’s Circle of Friends Hosts “Night in the Opera,” May 14
The Circle of Friends of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center will be hosting its annual meeting in conjunction with a performance by the Lyric Opera during “Night in the Opera” on Saturday, May 14.
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, before the stirring musical performance and a Chance Auction with proceeds to benefit the Alvin Sherman Library. For more information on the auction, please click here.
The evening also serves as the Annual Meeting and installation of the 2011-2012 board for the Circle of Friends.
Tickets to the event are $40 for Circle of Friends members, and cost $100 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership in the group. Valet parking is complementary, and cocktail attire is suggested.
The Circle of Friends is a diverse group of individuals who share the common goal of furthering the intellectual resources of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library.
