NSU Library Hosts “Sippy Cups” Kids’ Rock Concert with Popular Indie Recording Group, Dec. 8

The Sippy Cups

NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library presents the wildly entertaining children’s indie music group from San Francisco, The Sippy Cups, who will perform a FREE show for kids and their families on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center.

The Sippy Cups have performed at major concert halls and rock festivals including Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza, and they have received rave reviews from Newsweek, The New York Post, Billboard, Time, and the Washington Post.

The powerful formula of The Sippy Cups lies in their universal appeal to parents and children. If you like The Beatles, The Ramones, and The Cat in the Hat, you will love The Sippy Cups.

This FREE concert is an exclusive for NSU Alvin Sherman Library card holders – but don’t worry, library cards are available to all who live, work or go to school in Broward County. Pick one up today if you don’t already have one. Visit www.nova.edu/library/card to get started.

Then, beginning Saturday, Nov. 24, show your NSU Alvin Sherman Library card at the public library services desk on the first floor of the building in order to obtain your FREE concert ticket. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
