NSU Library Hosts “Alice in Wonderland! Adventures in Dali-Land: A Cano / Hammond Puppetry World Premier,” Apr. 28

NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center is hosting a special performance of “Alice in Wonderland! Adventures in Dali-Land: A Cano/ Hammond Puppetry World Premiere” on Saturday, Apr. 28 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Prepare to be dazzled by this visually exciting, surreal retelling of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by master puppeteers Pablo Cano and Jim Hammond.

Pablo Cano, renowned South Florida found-object artist and creator of whimsical sculptures and marionettes, and Jim Hammond, puppet designer, producer, artistic director (credits include The Lion King, and Snow White), will expand your imagination with this modern puppetry version of the Lewis Carroll classic.

Thanks to the Charles P. Ferro Foundation for its generous sponsorship of the Live at the Sherman Library series. The performance will take place in the library’s Second Floor Gallery and is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
