NSU Libraries Now Offer Online Holds Service

Exploring NovaCat has always been an easy and convenient way to use the NSU Libraries from home or work. And now, a new service called Online Holds will be available to further assist Broward county patrons, along with all NSU students, faculty, and staff.

Those with library records in good standing will now be able to place a hold on up to 10 items while searching NovaCat – including most circulating books, DVDs, audio books and CDs. This means no more calling the circulation desk to request a hold.

In most cases, the library will process hold requests within two business days though it will take longer for items that are already checked out. Participants will be notified via email when items are available for pickup.

Please contact the library if you have any existing overdue materials or outstanding fines that prevent you from taking advantage of this service.
