NSU Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Protocol Deadline
Does your research involve recombinant DNA, infectious materials or toxins? The next quarterly meeting of the Nova Southeastern University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) will be held on September 7th and the deadline for submitting protocols for review is August 23rd.
The Nova Southeastern University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is responsible for evaluating all research that is conducted with recombinant DNA (rDNA), infectious agents, or biological toxins, regardless of funding source, in order to oversee the health and safety of employees and the public, and to ensure compliance with the NIH Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant DNA Molecules (NIH Guidelines). Visit the IBC website for the correct forms to submit your project for review or email IBC@nova.edu with any questions.
