NSU Institute for Child Health Policy Research Scientist Selected to Sit on Special Emphasis Panel

The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has selected Michelle Doldren, MPH, Ed.D., research scientist at NSU’s Institute for Child Health Policy and adjunct professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Public Health Department,  to participate as a member of a Special Emphasis Panel.

The members of the special emphasis panel review applications for the:

  • NIMHD Science Education Initiative (R25),
  • Resource-Related Research Projects Cooperative Agreement (U24),
  • Environmental Health Disparities Research (P20 & P60),
  • Endowment Program (S1), Centers of Excellence (P20), Centers of Excellence (P60)
  • and the Health Disparities Research (R01). 

 The panel conducts face-to-face reviews in assessing applications that employs novelty in efforts to enhance activities that are essential in alleviating health disparities.
