The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship featured 2014 Entrepreneur Hall of Fame honoree, James Donnelly as guest lecturer on Oct. 16, 2014. Donnelly is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Castle Group, one of the largest privately owned and operated management companies in Florida. The full service company manages more than 200 communities, serving condominium and homeowners associations by offering customized property-related solutions.

Donnelly was inducted into the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in April 2014 along with Manuel D. Medina, Founder and Managing Partner of Medina Capital and Guy C. McN. Harvey, Artist, Scientist, Cinematographer, Guy Harvey, Inc., and Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. Like his fellow honorees, Donnelly returned to campus to speak through the Distinguished Lecture Series as part of the fall semester’s guest lecturers. He spoke about LifeShaping, a term he has service marked. “Most people want more but don’t know how to get there,” said Donnelly as he discussed topics to be covered in his book in progress. Throughout the lecture he infused lessons learned from his journey. The book’s ten chapters will feature advice from setting standards to utilization of visualization. The lecture concluded with many questions from the audience. Donnelly’s LifeShaping outline:

• Energy is required to conduct LifeShaping
• Health Triangle includes Physical, Mental and Social Health
• 5 keys include Sleep, Diet, Exercise, Meditation and Breathing
• Energy Management vs. Time Management
• People and Relationships
• Think
• Grow
• Decide
