NSU Hosts Free Screening of Human Trafficking Movie and Panel Discussion

NSU’s Institute for Child Health Policy (ICHF) hosted a free public screening of the movie, Downtown: A Street Tale, which chronicles the horrors of human trafficking. The award-winning film made its premier at NSU on April 22. A post-movie panel discussion on the topic was moderated by Sun-Sentinel Editorial Writer Doug Lyons.  Panelists included the movie’s executive producer, Mario Baeza, and writer/actor Joey Dedio.
