NSU to Host South Florida Multicultural Summit, Oct. 14
The Florida Diversity Council will present the South Florida Multicultural Summit on Friday, Oct. 14 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Guest speaker at 1:00 pm will be Cornel West, Ph.D., professor of Religion and African American Studies at Princeton University and author of the acclaimed, Race Matters.
The NSU community may attend Dr. West’s presentation at 1:00 pm in the Arena of the Taft University Center. Seating is available on a first-come, first serve basis. You must show your NSU Shark Card in order to gain entrance into the Arena. For more information, call Lynn Larose at 954-262-2116.
