NSU to Host the Miami Dolphins High School Player Development Symposium
Faculty, staff, and students from the NSU community are invited to attend the Dolphins Academy Symposium on Friday, June 14 at the Arena in the Don Taft University Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The symposium is one component of a three-day, 7-on-7 High School Football Tournament that has previously featured speakers such as George Hegamin of Under Armour and members of the Miami Dolphins including General Manager Jeff Ireland, Head Coach Joe Philbin, Alumni Troy Drayton, Twan Russell, and defensive lineman Ryan Baker. Topics have included life after football, personal development, and the importance of community service. In addition, the camp has featured speakers from NSU’s Shepard Broad Law School who’ve spoken to students during the symposium as well.
This year’s lineup will be announced soon but promises to be just as interesting and uplifting!
